The group meets at OR Tambo international airport from various destinations in South Africa. Your Tour Director will greet you with a warm welcome and introduce everyone. You board an overnight flight to Hong Kong.

Day 1 – Arrival, orientation and Hong Kong Harbour Night cruise

Arrive in Hong Kong in the morning where the shuttle will take the group to the hotel to check in and refresh and rest after the long journey. The Tour Director will suggest nearby restaurants for the travellers to have lunch and stroll around the neighbourhood at leisure.

 In the evening, you will enjoy a memorable evening of city skyline views, delicious food and unlimited drinks during a Hong Kong Harbour night cruise and dinner at Victoria Peak. This will be the opportunity to welcome the travellers, and the Tour Director will review the up-to-date daily schedule and any changes, discuss responsibilities, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and answer any questions you may have.

Day 2 – Group Tour of Hong Kong

In the morning, you will begin a 5-Hour Group Tour of Hong Kong where you will get to see and experience some of Hong Kong’s most popular sights and attractions, providing a great orientation of the city.

First, you will take the Peak Tram to the summit of Victoria Peak to get to see the beautiful skyline of this city by day. Your next stop is t Aberdeen Fishing Village, where you will admire old boats like junks and sampans and get a feel for life as a fisherman. You then move to Tse Sui Luen Jewellery Factory to see its artisan designs, followed by a visit to Stanley Market to look for gifts and souvenirs such as artwork, silk, clothing and accessories. Finally you will take a ride on an open-top rickshaw bus to explore several of Hong Kong’s heritage sites with 360-degree views.

The afternoon is your free time to explore this city. Your Travel Director has wonderful suggestions on how you could spend your afternoon.

Day 3 – Ocean Park Hong Kong Full Day Tour

After breakfast, you embark on Ocean Park Hong Kong Full Day Tour where you get to spend a full day enjoying the wonder of Ocean Park Hong Kong.  You get an up close look at penguins, walruses and dolphins as you wander the grounds and check out giant pandas and other cute and cuddly land mammals. This will be followed by exploring many entertaining amusement park rides, travel over the ocean on a cable car or ride up to incredible views on the outdoor escalator.

The local guide will not join you inside Ocean Park, giving you an opportunity to explore the park the way you see fit. This is the whole day adventure, and reliable round-trip transportation, admission tickets and pick up and drop off from your hotel will be provided.

Day 4 – Shenzhen day tour

This day you leave Hong Kong for a bit to experience the energy and excitement of Shenzhen, in mainland China, on this sightseeing and shopping tour. Your local guide will show you around the city’s most famous landmarks like Lichi Park and Meridian View Centre, before being set free to shop the streets and stores of this vibrant city. Revel at the life-size Terracotta Warriors in a Chinese Arts and Craft Centre. Make a stop at the Lo Wu Commercial Shopping Mall and then return by train to the hotel in Hong Kong.

Day 5 – Lantau Island and Giant Buddha Day Trip from Hong Kong

After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the express ferry, where you will cruise from Hong Kong Harbusrto Lantau Island. On the island, you ride in a comfortable coach to Tai O, and spend some time exploring the fishing village with its over-water stilt houses.  Your next activity is a travel in a Ngong Ping 360 cable car up to see the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery.  You then enjoy lunch at the monastery before you head back to Hong Kong for a drop-off back at your hotel.

Day 6 – shopping

The morning is free time to spend the day either discovering Hong Kong further on your own or do your shopping at many of Hong Kong’s many shopping malls.

In the evening, you will enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant to toast to your unforgettable week.

Day 7 – Departure

You enjoy free morning before your departure. You will be transferred to the airport by a shuttle to catch your evening flights.
